Stephanie Chau is a CPA, CFP®, and life and health insurance specialist. Ms. Chau has acquired extensive knowledge in wealth creation and wealth transfer through leadership roles at a family office, hedge fund, private equity firm, and a Big Four accounting firm. Prior to founding iClarity Advisors, Ms. Chau worked in a single-family office for eight years, where she gained deep knowledge of growing and preserving wealth, and advanced wealth transfer techniques. Previously, Ms. Chau served as Vice President and Fund Controller of multi-billion-dollar co-investment vehicles at Cerberus Capital Management, a leading private equity investment firm. At Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup and its spin-off, Saranac Capital Management, she was the VP of Portfolio Analytics, Business Development, and Client Service. She also worked as a senior auditor specializing in investment companies at Deloitte & Touche.
Ms. Chau currently serves as Chair of the Estate Planning Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs and is a Board Member and Advocacy Director of the Financial Planning Association of Metro NY. She is also active in her community, notably serving as the Vice President of the Forest Hills Asian Association, where she was previously the Treasurer. Her multicultural upbringing and proficiency in both English and Chinese give her an edge in serving the vibrant and diverse community of the Tri-State area and beyond.
